Indoor Facilities

Our field house was built in 1928, designed by architect Walter W. Ahlschlager, who also designed Riis and several other park district building. 

Kelvyn Park's playground is located on the east side of the field house and has swings, play sets and climbing areas for all ages.

Our auditorium is located upstairs and can facilitate performances, dance classes and theatre with backstage dressing rooms. It is not currently ADA compliant.

There are two baseball fields located inside the Kelvyn Park grounds.

Bathrooms are located on the main floor of the field house. Womens (left/west), Men's (right/east). Locker rooms are located downstairs.

Kelvyn Park is near 10 acres of land, lined by early 20th century homes and a wooded greenbelt (Wrightwood Ave). Parking is permitted on all 4 adjacent streets.

Kelyn Park's playground is located on the east side of the field house and has swings, play sets and climbing areas for all ages.

Our walking path lines the inner perimeter of the park, with branches to different parts of the park.

There are two baseball fields located inside the Kelvyn Park grounds.

Football is played in the center of the park, with practice areas behind the field house.

Cool down each summer on Kelvyn Park's large spray pad. open from June-August. The sprinkler is on a 15 minute self-timer.
